The HMM Reporting Dashboard is the enhanced reporting experience for Harvard ManageMentor (HMM)—designed to give you deeper insights in a cleaner, more modern interface. Powered by Domo, the dashboard provides:
- Dynamic visualizations for a traditional dashboard experience
- Exportable summary- and learner-level reports for detailed analysis
- Daily data updates for near real-time insights
How to Access the HMM Reporting Dashboard
You can access the dashboard in one of two ways:
Via the Corporate Learning Homepage
Click the Domo-related tile on your homepage: https://www.myhbp.org/homeNote: If your organization uses SSO, please use your custom vanity URL (e.g., company.myhbp.org).
- Via the Admin Console in HMM
Navigate to the Reporting tab within the Harvard ManageMentor application and click the direct link to the dashboard.
Analytics Page Overview
The Analytics page is the starting point of the HMM Reporting Dashboard, designed to help you identify trends and gather actionable insights. This page presents a high-level view of learner activity across your organization.
1. Getting Started
Use the filters at the top of the page to tailor your data view:
- Date Filters allow you to set a specific time range.
- Extended Profile Field (EPF) Filters (Label and Value) let you drill down into specific user groups based on your organization’s custom attributes.
2. At a Glance
A snapshot of essential metrics—ideal for quick check-ins:
- Utilization: Percentage of users who were active (i.e., engaged with HMM) compared to your total license pool.
- Unique Visitors: Number of individual users who accessed the platform during the selected period.
- Repeat User Percentage: Percentage of those unique visitors who returned at least once (i.e., two or more visits).
- Avg. Course Completion: Average number of course completions per user in the given timeframe.
- Avg. Time Spent: Average minutes users spent interacting with HMM content.
3. Engagement
Track user activity patterns and compare your organization's performance to other HMM clients:
- Time Filter: Choose to view data by Month or Quarter.
- Note: This section displays global data and does not apply EPF filters.
Key visuals include:
- License Usage: Shows how many licenses have been used compared to your total available pool.
- Utilization Over Time: Highlights the ratio of Active Users versus Dormant Users (users active in the past 12 months but inactive during the current period).
- Visitors for HMM: Breaks down users by New (first-time active) and Returning status.
- User Utilization & Repeat Usage Benchmarking: Compares your metrics to anonymized data from other HMM clients.
- Additional filters available: Industry, License Count, and View Last Date Range.
4. Progress and Completion
Gain insights into top-performing content and overall learning progress:
- Total Visits / Hours Spent / Course Completions: Aggregate metrics across all content, regardless of course.
- Top Courses by Visits / Time Spent / Course Completions: Displays the top 10 (or all) HMM courses based on your selected metric.
- Click on a course name to reveal Lesson Completions within that course.
- Note: Lesson metrics are based on completion only.
- Completion Criteria (shown on the right of this section):
Provides a reminder of what constitutes a completed course, including:- All Lessons completed
- Assessment(s) passed
- On the Job 1: Creation of an Action Plan
- On the Job 2: Completion of an Action Plan
- Completion Summary: Visualizes total completions for each component—Courses, Assessments, Lessons, On the Job 1, and On the Job 2—within the selected date range.
