Welcome to HBR Spark — your space for personalized leadership development. This guide will help you navigate your Account Settings, including the Leader Profile, Bookmarks, and Settings tabs, so you can get the most out of your learning journey.
Leader Profile: Your Personalized Leadership GPS
To access: Click your name or profile icon in the top-right corner of the page, then select Leader Profile from the dropdown.
The Leader Profile is your personalized leadership GPS — built to help you grow in the areas that matter most to you. It’s a core part of the HBR Spark experience, designed to support your development goals, fuel motivation, and track your progress over time.
In Your Leader Profile, You Can:
- View your selected focus skills
- Update your focus skills as your priorities evolve
- Track your progress over time
- Explore personalized learning recommendations
- Update your preferences anytime
Just getting started? Your Leader Profile will begin to populate as you engage with content and make skill selections.
Bookmarks: Save What Matters
To access: Click your profile icon and choose Bookmarks from the dropdown.
The Bookmarks tab allows you to revisit content that resonates with you — whether it's an article, tool, or video.
In Bookmarks, You Can:
- View all the content you've saved
- Click to reopen any bookmarked item
- Unbookmark an item simply by clicking the bookmark icon again
Use this space to build your own library of key insights and tools.
Settings: Customize Your Spark Experience
To access: Click your profile icon and choose Settings.
Under Settings, you can manage your preferences, view organization-provided information, and update privacy choices.
Preferences:
- Display Name & Pronouns: These appear to you, your organization’s administrators, and (in the future) to peers via social features.
- You can edit your display name and pronouns anytime and click Save Your Preferences.
From Your Organization:
- Displays your name, email, and username as registered by your organization
- This section is view-only. For any changes, please contact your administrator.
Privacy:
- Manage your cookie preferences (e.g., Accept All Cookies)
